Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLACAT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BLACAT1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher BLACAT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLACAT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRC, KIRP, and ACC are the cancer types where BLACAT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
