Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BIRC6-AS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BIRC6-AS2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher BIRC6-AS2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BIRC6-AS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and COAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and KICH are the cancer types where BIRC6-AS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
