Across TCGA patient cohorts, BIRC5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 275 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BIRC5-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-178P, RNU6-218P, and RN7SL769P. Each is linked with BIRC5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BIRC5-to-partner and partner-to-BIRC5 results are reported.
