Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BIK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BIK data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher BIK Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BIK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and SKCM are the cancer types where BIK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
