Across TCGA patient cohorts, BICD1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,245 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BICD1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PPFIBP1, LGALS1, and NES. Each is linked with BICD1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BICD1-to-partner and partner-to-BICD1 results are reported.
