Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, BHMT2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,575 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible BHMT2-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLC17A1, RGN, and GPT. Each is linked with BHMT2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BHMT2-to-partner and partner-to-BHMT2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, BHMT2 versus SLC17A1 in CCRCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.47.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BHMT2→partner) and Y-score (partner→BHMT2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
