BHMT

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, BHMT mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 43 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BHMT-associated genes across cancer lineages are C3orf56, RAI1, and FAM149A. Each is linked with BHMT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BHMT-to-partner and partner-to-BHMT results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, C3orf56 grouped by BHMT-low versus BHMT-high in SKIN.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BHMT→partner) and Y-score (partner→BHMT) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
