Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BET1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BET1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher BET1-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BET1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and MESO show a favorable association.

SKCM, UVM, and MESO are the cancer types where BET1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
