Across TCGA patient cohorts, BEST4 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 6 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BEST4-associated genes across cancer lineages are XBP1, ATM, and 4E-BP1. Each is linked with BEST4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BEST4-to-partner and partner-to-BEST4 results are reported.
