Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BEND7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BEND7 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BEND7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BEND7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where BEND7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
