BDNF

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, BDNF mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,374 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BDNF-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-839P, VN1R81P, and HDGFL2. Each is linked with BDNF in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BDNF-to-partner and partner-to-BDNF results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RNU6-839P grouped by BDNF-low versus BDNF-high in BRCA.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BDNF→partner) and Y-score (partner→BDNF) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
