Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BCRP5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BCRP5 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BCRP5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BCRP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and BRCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, COAD, and TGCT are the cancer types where BCRP5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
