Across TCGA patient cohorts, BCAN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,746 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible BCAN-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-610P, TMCC2-AS1, and BEND7P1. Each is linked with BCAN in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BCAN-to-partner and partner-to-BCAN results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, BCAN versus RNU6-610P in OV, with a Pearson correlation of 0.95.
