BCAN

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, BCAN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,170 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BCAN-associated genes across cancer lineages are VARS2, RNU7-90P, and SLC25A1. Each is linked with BCAN in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BCAN-to-partner and partner-to-BCAN results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, VARS2 grouped by BCAN-low versus BCAN-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BCAN→partner) and Y-score (partner→BCAN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
