Across TCGA cell cohorts, BCAN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 66 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BCAN-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAGEB5, KRTAP4-1, and ADRA1A. Each is linked with BCAN in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BCAN-to-partner and partner-to-BCAN results are reported.
