Across TCGA patient cohorts, BBS4 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,738 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BBS4-associated genes across cancer lineages are LINC01855, BNIP3P36, and MIR4716. Each is linked with BBS4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BBS4-to-partner and partner-to-BBS4 results are reported.
