Across TCGA patient cohorts, BAX mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 199 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BAX-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-618P, RNA5SP473, and RNU2-61P. Each is linked with BAX in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BAX-to-partner and partner-to-BAX results are reported.
