Across TCGA patient cohorts, BAK1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,465 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BAK1-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-649P, MIR302E, and RN7SL248P. Each is linked with BAK1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BAK1-to-partner and partner-to-BAK1 results are reported.
