Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BACH1-IT2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BACH1-IT2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher BACH1-IT2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BACH1-IT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and THCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and MESO are the cancer types where BACH1-IT2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
