Across TCGA patient cohorts, BAAT mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,646 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BAAT-associated genes across cancer lineages are WDR62, RN7SL134P, and XPNPEP1. Each is linked with BAAT in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BAAT-to-partner and partner-to-BAAT results are reported.
