Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BAALC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BAALC data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher BAALC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BAALC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where BAALC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
