Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B4GALNT4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated B4GALNT4 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher B4GALNT4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B4GALNT4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, KIRP, and ACC are the cancer types where B4GALNT4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
