Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, B3GNT7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated B3GNT7 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher B3GNT7 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated B3GNT7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LUAD show a favorable association.
PDAC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where B3GNT7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
