Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP8B4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP8B4 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher ATP8B4 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP8B4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and STAD show a favorable association.

CESC, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where ATP8B4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
