Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP6AP1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP6AP1L data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher ATP6AP1L RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP6AP1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and READ show a favorable association.

KICH, KIRC, and SKCM are the cancer types where ATP6AP1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
