Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP5PDP1 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ATP5PDP1’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where ATP5PDP1 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ATP5PDP1 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where ATP5PDP1 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
