Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP5MFP3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP5MFP3 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher ATP5MFP3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP5MFP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and LUSC show a favorable association.
SKCM, KIRP, and READ are the cancer types where ATP5MFP3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
