Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP5F1D RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATP5F1D data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher ATP5F1D RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP5F1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and MESO show a favorable association.
UCS, KIRP, and ACC are the cancer types where ATP5F1D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
