Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP5F1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP5F1A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ATP5F1A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP5F1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, LIHC, and COAD are the cancer types where ATP5F1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
