Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATP2A3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATP2A3 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ATP2A3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATP2A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and BRCA are the cancer types where ATP2A3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
