Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATM data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher ATM Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
TGCT, HNSC, and STAD are the cancer types where ATM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
