Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATG5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATG5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher ATG5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATG5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC, PRAD, and LGG are the cancer types where ATG5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
