Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATG2A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ATG2A data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ATG2A RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATG2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and HNSC show a favorable association.

UVM, HNSC, and KICH are the cancer types where ATG2A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
