Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ATG2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ATG2A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher ATG2A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ATG2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where ATG2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
