Across TCGA patient cohorts, ATE1-AS1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,933 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ATE1-AS1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are miRNA processing, Peptidyl-lysine modification, and Macromolecule methylation. Each is linked with ATE1-AS1 in more than 22 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ATE1-AS1-to-partner and partner-to-ATE1-AS1 results are reported.
