Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ASS1P5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ASS1P5 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ASS1P5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ASS1P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and MESO show a favorable association.
UVM, OV, and COAD are the cancer types where ASS1P5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
