Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ASPRV1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ASPRV1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher ASPRV1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ASPRV1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and KIRP show a favorable association.
CESC, KIRP, and UCS are the cancer types where ASPRV1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
