Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ASPG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ASPG data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ASPG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ASPG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC and SKCM are the cancer types where ASPG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
