Across TCGA patient cohorts, ASL mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 28 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible ASL-associated genes across cancer lineages are PTEN, EGFR_pY1068, and eIF4E. Each is linked with ASL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ASL-to-partner and partner-to-ASL results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PTEN grouped by ASL-low versus ASL-high in SKCM.
