Across TCGA cell cohorts, ASL RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,092 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ASL-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are L-arginine biosynthetic process, Chromosomal 5-methylcytosine DNA demethylation pathway, and Endocytic recycling. Each is linked with ASL in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ASL-to-partner and partner-to-ASL results are reported.
