Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ASF1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ASF1A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ASF1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ASF1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and COAD are the cancer types where ASF1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
