Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ASAP1-IT2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ASAP1-IT2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ASAP1-IT2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ASAP1-IT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LUSC show a favorable association.

KIRC, BRCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where ASAP1-IT2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
