Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARMC8 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ARMC8 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher ARMC8 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARMC8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.
COAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where ARMC8 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
