Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARL8A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ARL8A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ARL8A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARL8A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LSCC, and GBM are the cancer types where ARL8A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
