Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARL5B RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ARL5B data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher ARL5B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARL5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LUSC show a favorable association.
ACC, KIRC, and LUSC are the cancer types where ARL5B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
