Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARL5A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ARL5A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher ARL5A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARL5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LUAD show a favorable association.

GBM, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ARL5A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
