ARL14EP

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARL14EP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ARL14EP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where ARL14EP RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ARL14EP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and BLCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, LIHC, and CHOL are the cancer types where ARL14EP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
