Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARID1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ARID1B data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher ARID1B RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARID1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and KIRC show a favorable association.

SCLC, OV, and KIRC are the cancer types where ARID1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
