Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARID1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ARID1B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher ARID1B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARID1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

CESC, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where ARID1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
