Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ARHGAP42-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ARHGAP42-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ARHGAP42-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ARHGAP42-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LGG show a favorable association.

KIRC, MESO, and LGG are the cancer types where ARHGAP42-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
